How does this device work?

This compact device combines four important functions in a car: mobile phone charging, Bluetooth Adapter, FM transmitter and Alexa voice ssistant. You can use the dual charging port to charge two phones simultaneously, use Bluetooth adaptor and FM transmitter in conjunction to interact to your phone’s audio contents via the microphone and your car’s loud speakers, be it listening to songs on your phone or making a phone call. Finally, you can your favorite Alexa skill while using phone’s apps on the road, for example your favorite map apps such as google/apple map or waze.

Does this device requires running an App ？

Vocar connects to the internet via your phone’s WiFi hotspot service, so it runs just like an Echo speaker, and requires no App once setup. After you start the car, it will automatically look for your phone to connect to. (Therefore, you do need to turn on WiFi hotspot before using Vocar).

Once connected to Alexa voice service, you have an instant access to all those familiar and favorite Alexa skills, ask it questions, control your smart home devices remotely (like open your garage door, turn on the lights etc.), ask it to play some music.
