Prime Day 2021 iPad deals are expected to be bigger than ever. We expect Apple’s entire family of tablets to see respectable discounts.
From the 7.9-inch iPad mini to 12.9-inch iPad Pro, we’re likely to see markdowns from $40—$400 on various configuration iPads. While previous-gen iPads will get the biggest discounts, we’ll also see the best price of the season on the new iPad Pro.
The lowest price we’ve seen so far for the newly released 11-inch iPad Pro with M1 chip is $749 ($50 off). We expect it to return to this price during Prime Day with competitors like Best Buy and Walmart offering the same deal. Amazon currently has its larger sibling, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (256GB) on sale for $900 ($199 off). This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro to date.
As for the entry level 10.2-inch iPad, it’s frequently been on sale for $299 ($30 off) at Amazon and other retailers. We could see it discounted another $20—$30 price drop for Prime Day.
Apple’s mid tier iPad Air 4 could see a $540 ($59 off) deal price in the next round of Prime Day iPad deals. The rumored next-gen model iPad Air won’t see the light of day until 2022 so we don’t expect it to go much lower than that — at least not until the holidays.
Rarely on sale, the 7.9-inch iPad mini is long overdue for a considerable discount. Historically, we’ve seen it drop to as low as $335 ($64 off) on Amazon. Given the age of the tablet, Amazon could offer it for just $299 ($100 off). It hit this price during Black Friday at Best Buy, undercutting Amazon’s price by $36.
Competing retailers usually offer Prime Day iPad deals alongside Amazon. We’ll be tracking prices to bring you the deals on iPads during the sale. If you don’t want to wait for Prime Day, you can score fantastic Prime Day-like savings in this week’s early deals.
