Nelson is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a rescue from Cyprus who is in the UK and looking for a new forever home. He is currently living in a kennels in Portsmouth.
Nelson is a cuddly boy once he gets to know you. He is a large boy of around 35 kg, (his size has been compared to an Old English Sheepdog). He is a little nervous and reactive with strangers. So, he will need time to get to know his new family and to settle with them.
He would like a home that has experience with rescue dogs and will be prepared to help him settle in his new home and learn his new routines. He gets on well with some dogs but not all. He would not want to share his new home with a cat.
Nelson needs a home preferably with adults only. He has a strong and high prey drive. He loves his food, and will bark when he wants attention from his humans. He also needs a safe and secure garden where he can play safely off lead.
