I recently challenged myself to attend my first film photography workshop. Patricks Lee’s Apollo Workshop was focused on film photography and artificial lighting. I am very honored to be the first individual who entered his workshop along with three other amazing photographers in the fine art industry.
The workshop took place in the famous city of Pasadena in Southern California. Our models were composed of a real couple which made the photo session so much more fun and romantic.
Both the wedding planner, Cynthia, and the florist Rogue and Fox Floral did an amazing job. The flower wall in the ceremony was magnificent. I never seen anything like that before, it seemed as if they were floating in the air.
For the venue, I knew instantly there was no other choice than Villa Del Sol Doro. The entire property is full of these meticulous details that I cherish as a photographer and designer, which played perfectly into the inspiration of the couple’s profile.
When I opened the doors in the balcony on the second floor of this villa I was impressed by the view. The tall trees stood perfectly standing across from one another and created a long, endless tunnel. It’s hard to describe how amazing the view was with words.
