I had been shopping for simple white dresses! It was driving me crazy that I couldn’t ask Ben’s opinion, so finally, I showed him a model in a plain dress that I had been eyeing. That’s when I started looking for what I really wanted, which was a fitted strappy dress with embellishments on it. Once I tried on Martina Liana Style 1305, I loved it and knew it was the perfect dress for me – and it was the first dress I tried! Despite it being a traditional wedding dress, I loved that this gown felt like it still paid homage to my South Asian culture with the embellished work, similar to the intricate designs on traditional Asian wedding dresses.
