We pride ourselves in continuing the fight against “one use” plastic, and by offering amazingly high quality products such as these we can ensure that you can reuse our color changing products dozens – even hundreds of times – before you start to see any of the color fade.
To create the color changing effect all of our products are made with a special plastic material that was actually tested and created by NASA! Not only is this safe, but it isn’t coated with anything that will cause harm to you or your loved ones. There is no special coating or material that goes over these spoons, they truly are MAGIC!
Great for gender reveal parties! If you are looking into using our color changing products for a gender reveal and would like the best starting color then take a look at our suggestions for that:
Because the color change happens when it is cold you will have a much better “white” or starting color if your products are first warm and not just room temperature.
We recommend doing the following to get the best results:
Boiling some water
Take the water off of the heat for a few minutes
Put all of your supplies you’d like to have change color into that water
Let it sit 5-10 minutes in the water prior to the reveal.
Have a second bowl or glass cup full of freezing cold ice water
You can also use your favorite ice cream!
Be amazed at the beautiful color change!

Just remember that the warmer the starting temperature of the spoon/straw & the colder the food/beverage is that you are eating, the more dramatic the color change will be.

For those of you out there who don’t need the extra durability that comes with our XL color changing spoons we also offer the Crazy Color Changing Spoon! These have more of a ‘traditional’ spoon look & feel to them but don’t get us wrong, these are INCREDIBLE spoons, but may not be perfect for grandpa john’s extra thick homemade ice cream. For everything else, we’d be crazy not to recommend these. All of our crazy color changing spoons have the same colors as the XLs, including:

Color Changing Straws! Dishwasher Safe & Reusable!

With the our goal to become more conscious about the environment we went out to find a straw that isn’t just used once and then thrown away, but instead reused. These straws are designed to be thrown in the dishwasher (like our other color changing products) and used over and over again. Along with the pictured “White to Red” color changing straws we have several other colors so be sure to take a look!

We also offer paper straws that are not color changing, but are in fact recyclable. Here at FDS we are here for you!
