Nikon have just launched the exciting new Z 400mm F4.5 VR S, a super-telephoto lens that weighs a mere 1245g and measures 23.4cm in length.
This new lens is fully compatible with Nikon’s 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, which provide a focal range of 560mm and 800mm respectively.
Its offers 5.5 stops of built-in optical image stabilisation, increasing to 6 stops when paired with the flagship Z9 camera.
The new Z 400mm F4.5 VR S is only slightly larger than the Z 70-200m F2.8 and the Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6, whilst being much more affordable than the Z 400mm F2.8 lens.
The Nikon Z 400mm lens will go on sale on July 14th 2022 priced at £3299 / 3699 Euros.
