Mr Gibbs – 16 month old male Rottweiler available for adoption

Mr Gibbs is a 16 month old male Rottweiler. He is castrated, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is sadly another pandemic pup who has been passed around and had limited socialization and training.

He is a bright young man who needs an owner who is willing to put in the time and effort to continue his “positive training”. Gibbs can be reactive on lead which means he can bark and lunge at other dogs and people he does not know because he is fearful and did not have much socialisation due to lock down and unsuitable homes.

We also know that he was picked on by a male Rottweiler so is currently not keen on other Rottweiler’s. He is very sporty, active and strong and likes to be busy and have a purpose so a home where he can do some sports training would be ideal. He is now learning to socialise with other breeds of dog and could live with a medium or large breed after suitable intros.

Mr Gibbs although friendly with females once introduced is very much a man’s dog and prefers the company of men. He needs a breed experienced rural home without children, cats or small furries as has high chase drive and is very bouncy.

Please do not apply unless you have read his profile and can meet his needs. Home checks apply. Somerset Based.
