Max is an 8 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Rottweiler. He was originally rehomed from us as a puppy but sadly found himself back in our care due to his owner’s ill health. He is a beautiful, loyal dog. He takes some time to build trust but as soon as he does his friendly, playful nature starts to shine through.
Max is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, he takes time to get to know other dogs and doesn’t always accept them. He cannot live with cats. A quiet, adult only home would suit Max best without any visiting children or children planned for the future. He is clean and well-behaved in the home and could be left alone for a couple of hours once he has initially settled in.
Max was quite overweight when he arrived with us and x-rays have shown that he does have some arthritis, that has improved with exercise and supplements. Max is otherwise in great health.
