Miko is a 7 year old male Griffon Cross. He has been in the UK for 5 years. He can live with other dogs but he can be a bit barky to start with until he knows the dog.
Miko cannot live with cats or small furries. It is also advised that he does not live with small children either.
Miko does bark at people and a busy home is not ideal for him. Miko is a nervous boy and needs plenty of time and patience to help him.
Miko knows commands and is affectionate. He is not good on walks because he barks a lot at cyclists, and motorbikes and will go “nuts” at other dogs but he is fine in private secure fields with dogs he knows & in the garden.
Walks in busy places with traffic noise does not suit Miko at all. He is in good health but does need wheat/grain-free food or he gets an itchy red nose, and itchy paws and ears.
If this happens he needs antihistamines for a few days until it clears up. If you are interested then we require information about your family, the ages of everyone in the home, existing pets & work hours. All enquiries will be looked at.
We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off-lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds.
We do not rehome with children under 8 years old. His full rescue backup is provided.
