Honey is a 7 month old female Dutch Shepherd Cross. “Seeking reassurance from a new owner who will give me the love and attention I crave and deserve. Time and patience is all I need from an experienced Shepherd owner who can show me kindness and positive training, opening up my world to new and exciting adventures.
Like any Shepherd I greet you with the usual bark to suss you out and then get all giddy once I remember who you are! I love my toys and hot dog sausages but am still a little timid around certain situations and still getting used to the big wide world.
Being a youngster I require a lot of mental and physical stimulation and consistency from an owner in regards to my toileting, being left and socialisation around people and other animals, so I will be seeking an adult only home.
Being so clever and smart I am a keen jumper so ensure my garden is fully secure and my fencing is high. I would certainly keep me on lead when we go for our walks as I have no recall and I am still getting used to walking by traffic.
I do need someone at home most of the day as I don’t like being left alone and I will need to be the only animal in my new home as I have not been used to having them around and I do see cats as a game of chase.”
