Onix is a 15 month old female Griffon Cross. Currently in a foster shelter in Mauritius and can fly to the U.K. on the 2nd November. Onix was found with her siblings in a lorry garage with their mum who gave birth under a lorry. The whole family were rescued and brought to the shelter in August 2020.
Mum and her other siblings were adopted, most in Mauritius and her brother Gizmo to the U.K. Unfortunately Onix as so many other black dogs in Mauritius is constantly overlooked.
She is gentle, affectionate and friendly and loves cuddles. She is excitable and loves to go on walks and swimming and gets excited when she leaves the shelter to go on adventures. She has a moderate to high energy level and will need plenty of exercise and stimulation.
She is friendly with dogs if all ages so is suitable as an only dog or with another friendly resident dog/dogs. She hasn’t been cat tested. She is good with children but hasn’t been tested with very young children so ages 5 and over will be considered.
She has been sterilised, fully vaccinated, snap dx4 blood tested, health checked and microchipped.
